of our success. My father, CL&D’s founder,
understood that from the beginning, and that’s
why the continued growth and security for all
associates was included in the original vision
back in 1978. And why it remains the vision today.
Story after story can be told of the longevity
of service at our companies – in fact, some
of the people who started the business continue
to grow with us and contribute today. What I learned
from them is a fundamental understanding about
business: if you’ve got the right people
in the right places who are happy to be working
for you – they will make your customers
happy – and you’ve got a good, solid
